Watch the Trailer for Eddie Murphy's 'Beverly Hills Cop' Sequel, 'Axel F'

Eddie Murphy is 62 years old, still doesn’t look an age over 40, and is set to reprise his Detective Axel Foley character for a Beverly Hills Cop sequel for Netflix. I doubt it will be anything approaching how good the original was, but I also suspect the original has aged as poorly as Murphy’s early stand-up.

Here, the Detroit detective has to return to Beverly Hills once again to investigate the death of a long-time confidant. While Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, and Bronson Pinchot all return, it’s nice to see Murphy’s not surrounded entirely by ’80s B-movie actors. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Bacon are along for the ride, as well.
