Last Friday was intended to herald the release of Paramount’s live-action Sonic the Hedgehog. However, those plans got derailed last spring, following the debut of the film’s first trailer. Fans were so freaked out by the look of CGI Sonic and his frightfully human teeth that Paramount pulled the trailer, pushed the release date to 2020, and plunged back intoThe postproduction to retool. And here’s a taste of how Twitter is reacting to Sonic’s new/old look:

Sonic the Hedgehog opens February 14.
