Sam Raimi has revealed he will direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Months after entering into talks about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Spider-Man trilogy director casually admitted to Coming Soon that he’d taken the gig to helm the Doctor Strange sequel.

Once more, Twitter burst with reactions.

As for Bruce Campbell, the longtime Raimi collaborator is already considering how he might make his way into the MCU.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently slated for release on November 5, 2021. In the meantime, Raimi’s got a new series rolling on Quibi, 50 States of Fright.
