You know that thing where you know nothing about a movie, but are determined to see it because of an intriguing poster? You know that thing. Sometimes this might be because of the stars flaunted, the style displayed, or some imagery is so instantly striking, we think, “Yes. I want to go to there.” Decision made. Well, prepare yourself, because have you met Cordelia?

Goddamn. They just made a thirst post(er).

To tease the film’s UK release, StudioPOW has unleashed this poster, which shows Antonia Campbell-Hughes throwing Johnny Flynn against a wall. Do you need further reason to see this film?

Ugh. FINE.

Here’s the plot synopsis, courtesy of Flickering Myth:

Cordelia (Antonia Campbell-Hughes) lives with her twin sister Caroline (Campbell-Hughes) in their central London basement flat. Years earlier, Cordelia had been caught up in a traumatic event that left her guilt-ridden and fragile. Her gradual recovery and search for independence is jeopardised when her sister leaves for a weekend away. For the first time she meets her mysterious neighbour Frank (Johnny Flynn), a cellist whose music has intrigued her. As their relationship develops, Cordelia becomes convinced she is being stalked. Increasingly anxious and unsure of Frank’s motives, Cordelia begins to unravel.

Directed by Adrian Shergold, Cordelia will open in the UK on October 23. No word yet on when it might be unveiled Stateside. Goddamn.
