The 'Alien: Romulus' Teaser Will Get Your Blood Pumping

There’s not much here in the 60-second teaser trailer for Alien: Romulus, but there is plenty enough to get viewers excited about the next installment in the Alien franchise. This one is set in between the events of Alien and Aliens and it comes from Fede Álvarez, the director behind two of the better horror flicks in the last decade, the Evil Dead reboot and Don’t Breathe (granted, Jane Levy is not a fan of her former director).

The film stars Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla) and Isabela Merced (Dora and the Lost City of Gold). Originally intended for Hulu, it is now set for theatrical release on August 24th. It should not be confused with the Alien series that Noah Hawley is producing for FX.
