Bob Odenkirk is one of the best in the business. After watching him in comedic roles for most of his early career, and after watching him get robbed five times by the Emmy voters for his dramatic work on Better Call Saul, Odenkirk is pissed, and he’s taking it out in Nobody.
Nobody comes from producer David Leitch of John Wick fame, and that influence is fairly apparent in the trailer. It’s like John Wick, except that his character, Hutch Mansell, is a nobody family man, which sort of puts Nobody somewhere on the line between Wick and Death Wish, except there’s some dark comedy here, and also Bob Odenkirk is much cooler than Bruce Willis. This movie also looks like a blast. I am now looking forward to a Wick universe with Odenkirk, Keanu, and Charlize from Atomic Blonde. Someone make this happen.
Nobody comes out on February 27th, 2021 (in theaters or streaming, or however movies are released by then), and also stars Connie Nielsen and Christopher Lloyd.
