Feeling cooped up and stir crazy? Augustine can relate. He’s the handsome hero at the center of George Clooney’s latest, The Midnight Sky. Based on Lily Brooks-Dalton’s acclaimed novel Good Morning, Midnight, this post-apocalyptic drama follows a lonely scientist (Clooney) who’s working in the Arctic above a ruined world. When he realizes a team of astronauts is soon to return home, he races to warn them about what they’d be returning to.
Clooney not only headlines The Midnight Sky but also directs a star-studded cast that boasts Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, Demián Bichir, Kyle Chandler, and introduces Caoilinn Springall.

The Midnight Sky comes to select theaters in December and to Netflix on December 23.
