This weekend, Americans across the country were coming to grips with the reality of the coronavirus, many opting to socially distance by staying in and making homemade meals. In this dark time, we look to Tom Hanks, who is currently under coronavirus quarantine in Australia, and making the best of it. His latest update celebrated the critters and culinary culture of the land down under, featuring souvenir plushes of kangaroos and koalas along with toast generously slathered in Vegemite.

For those unfamiliar, Vegemite is a thick condiment spread made of brewer’s yeast, vegetables, and spices. It’s a savory food staple in Australia. However, this image sparked a flood of tweets about exactly how to Vegemite right.
