The Media Will Finally Know How To Report On Kristen Stewart and Her Girlfriend

A couple of months ago, Courtney looked into the way that the media was reporting on the fact that Kristen Stewart was dating a woman and found the results surprisingly hilarious. The media had no f**king idea what to call Alicia Cargille. Gal pal? Really?

The media no longer has to worry about such matters now: Thanks to Kristen Stewart’s mother, who confirmed that Stewart was romantically involved with her gal pal and assistant, the media can safely refer to her as Kristen Stewart’s girlfriend Alicia Cargile.

And you know what? Stewart’s mom, Jules-Mann Stewart, is totally OK with that.

“What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy. She’s my daughter, I’m just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices.

“I feel like people need to be free to love whoever they want”, Jules explained. “I accept my daughter loves women and men. It’s OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends so we should be free to choose our lovers.”

So, in addition to “girlfriend,” the media may also refer to Cargile as Stewart’s her “lesbian lover,” her “significant other,” or “fuck buddy.” She can also just refer to her as Alicia Cargile.

As for Stewart’s relationship to Robert Pattinson, who is now engaged to FKA Twigs, Stewart’s Mom was regretful:

“I’m very sad that Kristen and Robert didn’t have a chance to be alone together, they had to have the whole world with them and all the public stuff ruined everything, life became overwhelming.”
