It’s been two-and-a-half weeks since Matthew Perry’s sudden death at age 54. His Friends co-stars initially released a joint statement saying they were “utterly devastated” by the loss, and would “say more” when they felt it was time.

This week, all of the lead actors took to social media to pay tribute to Matthew individually.

Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston, 54, says that saying goodbye to Matthew has been “an insane wave of emotions that I’ve never experienced before.” She writes about how close the Friends cast was (“a chosen family”) and raves about Matthew’s comedic talents. Jennifer says she knows her late friend is “completely at peace and out of any pain” and ends her caption with, “Rest little brother. You always made my day.”

Last year, Matthew told Diane Sawyer that Jennifer “was the one who reached out the most” to him during his sobriety struggles and he was “really grateful to her for that.” Here’s Jenn’s post:

Matt LeBlanc
56-year-old Matt LeBlanc says goodbye to Matthew “with a heavy heart”. He writes that their time together was “among the favorite times of my life”, and he’ll “always smile” when he thinks of Matthew. Matt ends his post with, “And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me”:

Courteney Cox
Courteney Cox, 59, posted the Friends clip where Monica and Chandler first sleep together in London, writing that it’s one of her favorite moments with Matthew. Courteney shares that, before the cameras started rolling on set that day, Matthew “whispered a funny line” for her to say: “He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind”:

David Schwimmer
57-year-old David Schwimmer shared a photo of Ross and Chandler in an eighties flashback. He writes that it’s one of his “favorite moments” with Matthew, and “now it makes me smile and grieve at the same time.” David praises the late actor’s comic timing and generosity, and jokes that Matthew is “up there, somewhere, in the same white suit, looking around — ‘Could there BE any more clouds?’”:

Lisa Kudrow
Thank you for the best 10 years a person gets to have. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for all I learned about GRACE and LOVE through knowing you. Thank you for the time I got to have with you, Matthew.
