Sacha Baron Cohen made the Trump administration and their supporters look pretty stupid in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. So, it’s little wonder the reality-TV star turned national nightmare is no fan of the English comedian.
Indiewire reports that Trump told the press, “Years ago, you know, he tried to scam me. That’s a phony guy. And I don’t find him funny…To me he was a creep.”
Trump was recalling an incident in which Cohen was disguised as a BBC reporter in an attempt to prank him. He did not comment on how Cohen’s Borat 2 co-star Maria Bakalova got into the White House press room without a security check or COVID test. He is not referring to when his slimy spawn Donald Jr. interacted with her.
Trump very careful who he let into his events and house. No Covid test necessary - High 5! pic.twitter.com/Kf5gGk3n2M

Most especially, Trump definitely wasn’t talking about when his lawyer/spokesman Rudy Giuliani engaged in a pandemic-set interview with Bakalova in which he wore no mask, coughed on her, groped her, and went into a secluded bedroom, where he claims he was definitely not prepping himself for oral sex but was JUST TUCKING IN HIS SHIRT. For a while. While lying down. Uh-huh. Anyhow.
Nonetheless, Cohen isn’t bothered by the American president calling him a “phony” and a “creep.” Instead, he was thrilled, not only thanking the president for promoting Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, but also offering Trump a job for which he’d be a great fit:
Donald—I appreciate the free publicity for Borat! I admit, I don’t find you funny either. But yet the whole world laughs at you.
