Sacha Baron Cohen And Isla Fisher Are Getting A Divorce

Another one bites the dust. Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are divorcing after 14 years of marriage. The pair broke the news in identical Instagram Stories uploaded this afternoon, writing that they jointly filed to end their marriage in 2023:

A tennis-themed divorce announcement, eh? Heck of a choice. A source told Page Six that Sacha, 52, and Isla, 48, have been living separate lives for some time now, and Sacha allegedly met with Hollywood lawyers late last year. Now, the divorce filing is in London, where they both live.

Isla and Borat met at a party in 2001. They got engaged in 2004 and wed in a Jewish ceremony in 2010 (Isla converted). They have two daughters, Olive, 15, and Elula, 13, and an 8-year-old son, Montgomery. Over the years, the family has split their time between London, LA, and Sydney.

The unexpected divorce news comes ten days after Rebel Wilson revealed Sacha was the “massive asshole” she wrote about in her new memoir, Rebel Rising. Rebel has said Sacha pressured her to “go naked” and stick her finger up his ass for his 2014 film Grimsby. She also accused him of trying to silence her with “high priced lawyers” and “PR crisis managers.” Sacha has denied everything.
