Sarah Paulson brought along two dates last night for her glorious and well-deserved win: Marcia Clark and Pedro Pascal. Marcia Clark got a wonderful night being celebrated in a winning speech and getting mocked by Jimmy Kimmel in one of the worst hosting gigs in years, but Pascal was the true prize. And we were all winners for witnessing it.
First, he had to stop and climb a tree because of course.

Then he had a snack.

And like any good date, he celebrated his friend’s win.

And we should all celebrate Paulson—not just for her win, but because without her, we would not have had our sweet precious viper.
So, Pascal was helping mentor a young actor to audition for the role of Oberyn Martell. And then Pascal totally stole it. He read the kid’s sides and called his bestie, Sarah Paulson, who called up her own friend—Amanda Peet, wife of David Benioff.
NEPOTISM. It’s a wonderful thing.
