We all know that it can take actors and actresses a while to really build their career, and along the way some of them take some interesting jobs. John Boyega is no exception, and while many of us may have thought he deserved total superstardom after his turn in Attack the Block, it was about five years between that and Star Wars during which he still had to make a living. So how did he do it? Well, Buzzfeed has found out that apparently he took at least one job as a stock photography model for a series of “education themed” photos.
There’s a link to browse the images on Getty’s website there, or on the Buzzfeed link, but at least one of them has been spotted in the wild since Boyega’s turn as Finn.
Boyega has confirmed.
Yep. Used the money for new trainers https://t.co/UulHEv2hrL— John Boyega (@JohnBoyega) January 8, 2016
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in China this weekend, so Boyega is firmly on the road to international superstardom. Somehow I doubt he’ll have to take stock photography jobs to buy his next pair of trainers.
