Last weekend, before the Gilmore Girls ATX reunion, Amy Sherman-Palladino and some of the cast sat down for a Today Show interview together. The whole thing is a great watch, full of appreciative reflective commentary, and if you have an hour this weekend, definitely give it a listen. But there was one bit of information that came out that we need to talk about immediately. Towards the end of the interview, “to appease the superfans,” everyone was asked for their allegiance in regards to Rory’s boyfriends. After Jared Paledecki tried to place himself on both Team Dean AND Team Jess, Alexis Bledel gave the perfect answer.

I think she’d be seeing someone new, or she’d be single and focused on her career. I don’t think she’d be married.

Lauren Graham agreed that “that’s the best answer ever,” but also said she was on Team Logan.

I’m sorry, did you say Logan?

This Logan?

No one likes Logan.

Well, except maybe people who are already established to be TERRIBLE.

Logan is a butt-faced miscreant. Everybody knows it.

He’s smarmy and gross and worst of all, treated Rory like total crap.

No. There is no Team Logan. It doesn’t even exist for one to be on. To her credit, Graham did say, without any hesitation at all, that there’s NO competition between Luke and Christopher. Obviously.
