I totally understand when people get frustrated or unsatisfied in their jobs, and they want to vent, but here’s where you shouldn’t do it: On Twitter. If your boss is pissing you off, talk to your boss about it. Even if the points you are making are valid, don’t get pissy on the Internet. It’s not going to help your situation; it’s going to exacerbate the problem.
I like Donald Glover. A lot. I’m not so sure about his alter ego, Childish Gambino, who I feel like drove Donald Glover — and thus, Troy Barnes — away, but I don’t approve of handling personal issues on Twitter, because I’m a fuddy-duddy who says things like fuddy-duddy, and I feel like all major confrontations should be handled in sheepishly worded, apologetic emails.
On the other hand, I guess he did learn how to mishandle his issues on the Internet from the best, and ultimately it did work for Harmon. Or at least, he got his show back. Maybe Glover will get a new record deal out of this, too.
