Channing Tatum did an interview with Cosmopolitan during the Cannes Lions festival, and in the Facebook Live discussion, he was asked about human excrement bucket Brock Turner. And his answer was filed under “should be a solid DUH, but since apparently it isn’t, we’re really happy he said it.”
“I think it’s a horrible idea to let someone off because possibly of what they are going to be capable of doing. If you start doing that, where do you stop? Where is that line? I don’t think it’s right. I think he should have been punished, personally.
I just couldn’t believe it. It’s like if you killed someone and got caught red-handed and just because you went to a nice school, and you were a good swimmer, you somehow get a lesser sentence. That just doesn’t make any sense.”“
He was also asked about his sex life with wife Jenna Dewan Tatum. And whether or not they have angry fight sex.
Me and sex are friends. We’re animals. It’s not a means. It’s something that enriches your life … it’s one of the clearest ways that we communicate, it boils things down to a very primal level.’
That’s how we know there’s something we have to talk about, that we have to solve … whatever’s between us energetically, before we can sort of get down.
‘For lack of a better term, we don’t hate-f**k each other. That’s just not what we do.
As for what they DO do, let’s just say it’s athletic.
“I just lay there. I just lay down, sometimes I nap,” he joked before he really started to dish. “Yeah, she’s really athletic. We get down!”
“We truly have all different kinds of sex,” he later added. “Sometimes it’s like, ‘Look, you gotta get this done. I gotta go to work.’ And that’s a real thing. To me, that’s us being completely open. … Then you have full-on, just completely totally connected otherworldly connections.”
Like we needed to be reminded that these two know how to get down.
