As you may know from previous interviews, Emma Stone is (strangely) a huge, huge fan of the Spice Girls. Like, so huge that a video message from one of the Spice Girls reduced her to tears. Basically, the Spice Girls are to Emma Stone what baby sloths are to Kristen Bell.

So, with that context, please enjoy this clip from the Graham Norton Show with Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, and Jamie Foxx.

I've decided that I like Graham Norton. That is exactly the type of joke that I would pull.

  • HobokenGuy

That was way funnier than I thought it could've been. Both the buildup and the payoff were great.

  • hapl0

That's just wrong, she looked like she was going to pass out. :D

  • Maddy

I would have reacted the same way ...

  • duckandcover

I'm so glad this didn't turn into an anxiety attack for her a la her run-ins with the paparazzi. I want to wrap Emma Stone in bubble wrap and watch Spice World with her.

  • NynjaSquirrel

See, I can agree on the bubble wrap, but with an entirely different agenda ; )

  • Uriah_Creep

Can you imagine if a couple of Spice Girls had been there to meet her? Her reaction would have made Kristen Bell's sloth meltdown look positively sedate.

  • ASFan

It had to have been Baby Spice for that to happen.

  • asherlev1

Andrew's reaction to the side was pretty darn heart-melting as well.

  • TheOriginalMRod

Emma Stone is too cute. She should totally be on that Animal Planet show.

  • Xtina Silva

After the snoozefest that was Russel, Cameron and Kylie, this was a good show, and a little Paolo Nutini at the end did not hurt either

  • oui

Awww Paolo has really grown up! He was so cute when he appeared on Graham Norton years ago...

And, when Graham started asking about Spice Girls, the two guys sort of inched away in a synchronized way....

  • Zirza

It's actually a good testament to how good the Graham Norton Show is that an episode that has Cameron Diaz and Russel Crowe having a conversation with Cammie's ladyparts still qualifies as boring.

    Totally underused Richard Ayoade, though.

  • Wrestling Fan

Oh god, that was awesomely evil!

  • Jenn Hamm

It is absolutely NOT strange that she is such a huge, huge fan! The Spice Girls were (and still are) epic!

  • Emily Smith

Exactly! I'm her age, and anyone of my friends can tell you their favourite Spice Girl without thinking. And we still watch the movie.

  • Jenn Hamm

    Ginger. Always Ginger.

  • doctormew19

Really she grew up in the 90's any female who survived that decade has a SUPREME love for the Spice Girls.. and they are still in fact EPIC.

  • Alexander1

Ok wow that was just cruel. Poor Emma. I want to hug her and do other things with her

  • Pretty Hate Machine

That hurt my feelings and I'm a hate machine.

  • Berry

Aww, that was cruel. But also immensely funny and entertaining.

  • emmalita

I know. I was watching that thinking, I wish I could be that cruel, without actually being cruel. Only Graham Norton could get away with it.

  • Berry

He's so amazing and so awful all at once. It helps that the people on his show know what they're in for and seem to take it in their stride. (Martin Freeman's "Fuck off, I'm acting" was great.)

  • emmalita

And now I shall waste hours watching Martin Freeman on Graham Norton.

  • Berry

I was about to apologize, but on second thought... nah.

  • emmalita

Did you think I was going to be doing something productive? Never assume that. Really, you should just say "you're welcome!"

  • Berry

You're welcome. Really, no-one should be too productive on a Saturday, if they can possibly avoid it.

  • Martin Holterman
  • Stephanie Walters

It may just be me... but wheres the clip.

  • Djinnantonnix

    I also have clip-blindness.
