Ryan Reynolds Squeals Like a Ninny, But This Brilliant Scream Supercut Has Some Backbeat

This big supercut trend that our own Harry Hanrahan ushered in around two years ago has died down over the last several months, as seemingly every overused tic and phrase has been exploited. I haven’t even heard from Harry in awhile, though I assume he’s hunkering down and waiting for an inspiring idea that will keep him ahead of the curve.

In the meantime, Cade Buchanan sent me a supercut of his own making, two minutes of cinematic screams set to a techno beat. I’ve lost my taste for most supercuts, but this one is pretty fantastic (especially the bit from Clue, which puts it over the top). Around the :30 second mark, there’s also a short ninny-ish squeal from Ryan Reynolds that gave me the guffaws.

The video is actually a sequel to an earlier one that Buchanan edited together, two minutes of bad ass movie slaps, which left me feeling some phantom sting in my cheeks.

Nice. Combine the last line from the slapping video with the screams from the first video and that's what I imagine a typical weekend at TK's sounds like.

Do you mean "Murder By Death"?

Is it weird that I was dancing in my office chair during the videos?

Damn! Fay Wray was almost nekkid in that dress. I love Pre-Code Hollywood!

And yes, that was Murder by Death. Watch it if you've never seen it. You'll scream with laughter.

I love Harry's work, but I have to mention that Rich over at FourFour has been slavishly dedicated to supercuts for probably as long as the Intenet has existed. His original "I'm not here to make friends" video is the first supercut of its ilk that I remember.
