Comments Are Welcome, Bigots and Trolls Are Not

I can never tell if the 'wacky' freddy kruger pictures are from him goofing off back stage, or just a clip from one of the later Nightmare movies. Cause honestly Freddy Kruger with a boombox and sunnies... yeah I can see that happening in some of those movies.

  • pnnylne

Nope! Still terrified. Thanks a lot for trying though.

  • Lab Kat

My inner geek goes with Bruce Campbell but my heart chooses Heath Ledger.

  • Emm82

I think Frankensteins' monster with tea & toast may be the best thing I've ever seen.

  • Gellarfan666

I have difficulty combining the words "adorable" and "Stanley Kubrick" into the same sentence without suffering severe trauma, night terrors and countless hours spent in a straitjacket with my little fluffy Insane-O-Bunny®. (Comes free with every loony bin visit! Get yours today!)

  • Limbo

One of them has time traveller Jimmy Fallon wearing his disguise of mullet and beard. Not fooling me, Fallon!

  • Benderman

I did a double take at that too.

  • kirbyjay

That's what I was going to post. JIMMY FALLON. There is also a Jimmy Fallon lookalike in the band Midlake. Me thinks Mr. Jimmy Fallon Sr. was getting around

  • Salieri2

Dammit, if this is supposed to be a "safe space" we need PENNYWISE WARNINGS. Every time.

  • bastich

Would you like a balloon? They all float down here.

  • manting

he thrusts his fists against the posts and wishes the book ended better.

  • BuffyloGal

Not sure which is harder, choosing a favorite or admitting to how many of these I have seen. The Chin. Ah....

  • manting

    the chin always wins

  • John W

    Great pics.

Alien looks like he's calling his agent. "Next time I see you I'm putting my fist through your chest!"

Speaking of Vincent Price a multi film blu ray box set of his movies is being released on the 22nd. Happy happy joy joy.

Carrie 2013 is not getting good reviews.

  • Salieri2

Oh boy, oh boy, all the Dr Phibes movies too? FAVE.

  • John W

    The Vincent Price Set includes:
    The Pit and The Pendulum
    Masque of the Red Death
    The Haunted Palace
The Fall Of The House of Usher
    The Abominable Dr Phibes (Yay!)
    Witchfinder General

(Hopefully we'll get Dr Phibes Rises Again and Theater of Blood in Volume 2)

In related news Criterion is going to release It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. (Only one of the best comedies ever)

  • F'mal DeHyde

Who's the hunk of burning love in the fifth photo with the werewolf?

  • grr arrgh

That is the director and co-writer, Drew Goddard.

  • F'mal DeHyde

    Thanks. :)

    He's very attractive.

  • grr arrgh

    You're welcome. :)

  • stella

Look a Simon Peggs face you guys! Its so great!

  • grr arrgh

Any clues what movie the black and white photo of the two women on their knees is from? It almost looks familiar but I don't recognize either woman.

  • Bedewcrock

It's Human Centipede. Don't Google Search Image like I did. Yeesh.

  • grr arrgh

Ah ha. Thank you. I'm so sorry for the images that will now never leave your brain.

  • damnitjanet

Oh, Jame Gumb....freaky as shit no matter WHAT you are doing.

  • That one took me back to a blog I used to read - many moons ago - whenever I needed a good laugh at work: http://www.pamie.com/butterfly.... ("My Skin Is Melting" is a particular favorite). It hasn't been updated since 2005, but bless his/her black little heart, it's still up. (sigh) Ahh, good times. Pretty sure screen grabs from this baby are what got me into HR's "watch file".

  • PDamian

These are mostly lovely photos, but that one of the creature with the eyeballs in its palms from Pan's Labyrinth -- no. No, no, no. NOPE. NO WAY. Even with the special effects folks standing next to him, just ... no. That thing scared the daylights out of me and gave me horrific dreams. And I haven't had movie-instigated nightmares since I was a wee child.

  • Interesting the Poltergeist one clearly shows Spielberg directing the actors.

  • JenVegas

What is that green-screen Hollywood Squares of Horror one from? I feel like I've seen it before but cannot place it.

  • melia

I think Cabin in the Woods?

  • manting

definitely - best part is the klansmen (they weren't in the movie)

  • bastich

"The Cabin in the Woods", I believe.

  • BWeaves

The Vincent Price one was my favorite, until I hit the Simon Pegg one.

  • Jay Pausner

You have a cool Videodrome one. I think this is my favourite from the BTS stuff.

    http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cTNj...

Also some really cool photos from The Fly as well.

  • the_wakeful

That pic from The Descent is not adorable at all and is giving me flashbacks. Goddamn that movie freaked out my shit.

  • e jerry powell

Roman Polanski still looks pretty fucking creepy despite not being in the movie.

That is a seriously pervy pair of pants sitting there next to Mr. Kubrick.

A boomboox? Really? I know it's 1984 and stuff, but come on, man...

  • pomeroy

The boombox is the best part!

  • AvaLehra

"Just because you are bad guy, doesn't mean you are bad guy."

  • Bob Barker

did any else think that wreck it ralph shouldve ended at the part with him crashing into the mountain?

  • AvaLehra

YES! I was weepy at that moment and thought it would have been a great ending.

  • bastich

"AvP: Requiem?!? What the hell was I thinking?!?"

  • AvaLehra

Sad alien is texting his agent in that picture.

  • bastich

    "I'm a sad alien."

  • e jerry powell

You would be too if you were having colonic irrigation seated upright with a large vacuum hose.

  • F'mal DeHyde

I love the Anthony Perkins photo, I might steal that for my facebook page.

  • Krissy

I want it for my wall in my bedroom for Christ sake!

  • I've seen other pictures of Heath Ledger in the Joker makeup behind the scenes like that and they are equally creepy and awesome.

  • Debra Stephen

my Aunty Abigail got a fantastic white Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid by working part-time off of a home computer... read the full info

  • bastich

Could you ask your Aunty Abigail if the adorable photos from horrifying movies pictured above have indeed taken the fuel right out of her nightmares?
