Will Margaery Tyrell Be Shame, Shame, Shamed? Parsing the New 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Photos

HBO has released a wealth of new Game of Thrones Season 6 photos, and while many are just individual character shots, from others, we can glean a bit of information. Let’s have a look, shall we? To be fair, y’all know these are automatically ***Spoilerish, right? They’re indicative of both last season and the upcoming April round, so if you’re not caught up with Season 5, scoot on out. Spoilers!****

Let’s start innocuously, with a celebration. Tyrion’s all, “Yeah! Finally, I have a palace to myself. While the Khaleesi’s away, the wine flows all day!” Although, he does seem to be pouring in the wrong direction.

More likely though, he’s discussing with Missandei and Grey Worm where Daenerys may have gone.

She, of course, is surrounded by the Dothraki again. But we know that she knows sleeping Drogons never lie…still for long. And, two dedicated, lovelorn, not-so-gentle men are looking for their queen.

Now, let’s get serious. BRAN IS STANDING ON HIS OWN. Granted, Max von Sydow’s Three Eyed Raven may be steadying him, but still!

Jaime is on a terrible trip, and must face his sisterwife with the news that another of their children is dead.

Whatever emotions he’s feeling, Cersei’s seem to be entirely gone.

At least we don’t have to worry about any horribly misdirected, misread corpse-side scenes between them?

The truly heartbreaking news is that although Sansa and Theon survived their jump, other Season 6 Spoilerish reports revealed that (swipe to read) Ramsay somehow recaptures them (or at least Sansa). Funny aside, I at first thought Theon was Jaquen, and was terribly confused.

Is it too much to hope they’re looking at Brienne, just before she removes both their heads?

Speaking of the Stark sisters, here’s confirmation for the non-readers that Arya is indeed blind. A girl is hungry; must she simply beg for food?

And speaking of Theon, Balon and Yara are back.

Finally, because Natalie Dormer let slip that she filmed in a different location, and that she’s got “bigger problems than Cersei,” we know Margaery Tyrell will somehow be released from confinement. Will Septa Unella first send Margaery on a walk of shame? Must we suffer two shorn queens? How much nudity will we have to endure? Will Game of Thrones finally achieve nudity equality? These questions and more will be answered after Season 6 premieres on HBO, April 24th.
