***Spoiler Warning: This post contains information about Game of Thrones’ Season 6 filming.***

These are some crazy times, when on a weekly — sometimes daily — basis we’re privy to filming reports about one of our favorite televisions series. Star Wars: The Force Awakens may be the blockbuster of the year, but either J.J. Abrams runs a tighter ship or because filming occurs mostly in studio, it’s easier to keep a lid on things. The odd thing is, I wouldn’t want to read TFA spoilers, and yet it doesn’t bother me in the least to catch little snippets of upcoming Game of Thrones’ scenes. What’d be really hilarious is if Benioff and Weiss had a little fun and set up a few dummy scenarios just to throw everyone off, but they’re probably too busy for that.

Bottom line is, Watchers on the Wall has some major spoilers about the filming of Season 6 scene, and while the reunion dynamic is interesting, I do want to throw out an extra warning: there’s a surprise factor at the end of what’s described, so think twice before you read ahead. ***Spoilers are coming.***

WotW’s sources caught a rehearsal of a scene being filmed this week with Sansa Stark, Littlefinger (aka Petyr Baelish), Ramsay *UGH* Bolton and he who lives, Jon Snow:

“The characters are interacting in Winterfell’s courtyard, and there’s a great deal of tension…

And then a giant turns up at the gates! The giant tries to force its way in and the people inside have to fight it off.”

While that’s an interesting character round-up, noticeably absent is Theon who when last we saw him, was holding Sansa’s hand and jumping from atop the castle wall. (From previous ***Spoiler-filled*** filming reports, we know that Theon eventually ends up with several other Greyjoys on the Iron Islands.) Conversely, the grouping marks the return of that terrible feeling in the pit of our stomachs, knowing Sansa ended up right back in Ramsay’s clutches, and we don’t know what exactly Littlefinger is up to. Is he there to carry out Cersei’s wishes (Sansa’s spiked head), or does he still have some plan to save a Stark for himself? On the plus side, undead Jon is with Sansa; we know he’ll do his best to protect her. And, in we-couldn’t-have-predicted-that-news…hello giant! Did Wun-Wun follow Jon from Hardhome? (WotW doesn’t know which giant it was.)

In related news, Kit Harington carries on with his “I’m Dead” farce (though, if Snow is resurrected he’s technically telling the truth). During his MI-5 press rounds, Harington was asked about changing his hair after its (mocked) contract is up, the actor said “I can chop it off right now.”

Giants and liars and hair, oh my!
