It’s not often that I come along and just post a solitary TikTok video here. I mean, it does happen.
But not all that often.
It has to be something really special.
Enter ‘EddieEWI’, a bloke with a TikTok channel on which he plays what he calls an ‘electronic wind instrument’—a homemade contraption that has…a very particular sound. You can check out EddieEWI’s channel here, but while the videos (and especially that sound) are really funny, it’s the comments underneath them, trying to describe the sound, that really destroy me. Each and every one of his videos is peppered with the funniest descriptions I’ve seen in a long time, but it’s the TikTok below, from another user who called EddieEWI’s sound ‘the most moist beat known to mankind’—and especially that comments that follow—which has absolutely wrecked me. For best effect, you need to watch the video and absorb that sound while reading the comments. I’ve been laughing at the combination for about 24 hours now, and it shows no signs of abating.
@mudgelord @Eddie EWI made the most moist beat known to mankind, and I love it #eddieewi #frogmusic #wetmusic #wtfisthismusic #idkwhattohashtag #goofyahhbeat ♬ original sound - Eddie EWI
In case the embed doesn’t work, the TikTok is here. And here is just a random selection of comments:
‘RPG town full of frogs that looks like a major city’ is the greatest, most accurate description ever applied to anything.
