Viral fame is like getting hooked on cocaine if cocaine was free and shot straight out of your phone into your face at the push of a button. That’s never going to end well.
Which brings us to the now-former Federalist and Daily Wire contributor DC McAllister a.k.a. the infamous Denise of “You were at my wedding, Denise.” On Saturday, Denise achieved a whole new level of online notoriety when she farted out this patriarchal hunk of red meat.
“He’s right. I slipped.”

Oh Denise ☹️ pic.twitter.com/8cWlcGPtUm
For those of you who don’t know, Yashar Ali is an openly gay journalist, and well, Denise latched right onto that fact because she knows who her audience is.
Or at least who it was before all of this.
Wow, Denise. Just wow. You are trash. pic.twitter.com/b9SG37txeR

Obviously, Denise just stepped into a world of sh*t. And like a righteous Godly woman who rejects sin, she immediately apologized for not loving thy neighbor.
Just kidding. She doubled right the hell down.
Dear NeverTrumpers, Hollywood freaks, pop culture deviants, Democrat dystopians—you are ghosts. You look in the mirror and you don’t know what you see. You’re lost.

I stand up for men being free in their masculinity. Respected for their masculinity. I’m attacked by gay men and their female sidekicks. What do you men think about this? We live in a society that wants to rob men of their manhood. Are you going to sit by and take it? Or fight?
— DC McAllister (@McAllisterDen) March 31, 2019
I have defensed masculinity & have been ridiculed for it. Maligned for loving my husband as a man & celebrating my role as a woman. Yet I’m the devil in the eyes of many. I criticize a gay man who dares to mock my relationship. And I’m the devil. You do see how fucked up this is

If you’re thinking that Denise’s choice of words seem oddly specific, take a wild guess who was being honored by the Harvey Milk Foundation for her work as an LGBTQ advocate on the same night as Denise’s meltdown.
We are moved and inspired to be recognizing tonight your @MeghanMcCain long standing support and leadership on LGBT inclussion and the hope you send across the world! https://t.co/4dBNU3vNLt

In Denise’s defense, yes, it is super f*cked up that Meghan is being lauded as an ally to the gay community even though she repeatedly states that she is a hardcore conservative and will always vote for the party that would burn the LGBTQ community at the stake if they could get away with it. Granted, Denise meant her stuff in the most homophobic way possible, we’re both pointing at the hypocritical jar of mayo.
Anyway, since Denise was so focused on husbands, she received a friendly reminder that Mr. Meghan McCain signs her paychecks. Or at least used to.
In response to your many inquiries, we've spoken and Denise McAllister will not be writing for us at The Federalist any more.

On top of that, Denise was also fired by Ben Shapiro. When a guy whose rhetoric inspires mass shootings thinks you crossed the line, that should be a wake-up call. And it kind of was if you count Denise’s apology.
The tweet in question has been deleted. I apologize to @yashar for responding to a perceived attack on my family in the manner I did and regret any embarrassment I caused @benshapiro and the @realDailyWire as well as @bdomenech and @FDRLST.
— DC McAllister (@McAllisterDen) March 31, 2019
Ah, yes, the problem was just the one tweet, and not the numerous other ones about the wickedness of homosexuality, like this tweet that sits literally underneath Denise’s apology.
I was fired when I criticized a gay man who mocked my heterosexual relationship. Yet no one defended me when I stood for masculinity and God’s design for sexuality despite outlets saying they represent Judeo-Christian values about sexuality, identity and purpose. What is truth?
— DC McAllister (@McAllisterDen) March 31, 2019
Then again, it is pretty rich that Denise was fired for saying out loud what all of these right-wing rags think. As far as the GOP is concerned, where is the lie? As we speak, the goddamn president is kicking transgender soldiers out of the military just ‘cause, and that guy is everything the Republican Party stands for, but in the shape of a gropey yam.
