We Know There's Not A Plot: 'Horrible Bosses 2' Trailer

I know meta-jokes have gotten a bit stale lately, but dammit if Motherf@!*er Jones’ speech isn’t actually funny. I said before that the Horrible Bosses sequel had won a Friday night video and pizza date from me, but I might have to upgrade that. Along with the acknowledgement that the entire premise of this movie is ludicrous, they’ve also introduced me to Funny Chris Pine.

Which brings me to a slightly unrelated, but still important point: Hollywood Chrises, stop making me re-evaluate my opinion of you. Pratt, you are a goofy, schlubby dude, not an action movie star. Evans, you’re an extremely wooden rom-com/ action lead, not someone capable of turning in a nuanced, sympathetic performance in an action heavy, dystopian fevered nightmare. Pine, just be Captian Kirk, ok? Humorous without being funny, and always just slightly too cocky. These are your roles. Don’t try “growing” and “maturing as an actor” on me. It’s not what Hollywood does.
