That autotuned theme song is a beast. It curls its chorus into your brain stem and plays on a loop forever and ever and ever and ever. Then maybe it even mutates, making it even more catchy.
Unbreakable. They're alive dammit!
Ghostbusting makes me feel goooooood!
The nonexistent mashup that plays in my brain on an eternal loop.

But we can’t hate because Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s theme song is as inspiring (“females are strong as hell!”) as it is catchy. And to see the interview that birthed the faux viral video turned actual cultural obsession, check out the full interview of Walter Bankston (Mike Britt) below:
“White dudes hold the records for creepy crimes….Now they free to wear shorts and look at cars, maybe even take a computer class like Blue Jasmine.”
Netflix, please give Walter Bankston a spin-off. K. Thanx.
And ICYMI, here’s the full version of the theme, with the Autotune Songify The News crew cut in!
Kristy Puchko would prefer all her news autotuned.
