Every time I hear someone mention the decrease in box office sales or the apparent slow death of the movie theater, I always think the same thing: Let them burn.
Not literally of course. That seems dangerous and messy.
But figuratively? Sure. Granted I don’t care for movie theaters themselves that much (I haven’t seen a movie in the theater since X-Men: Days of Future Past), but I also don’t understand why anyone would want to watch a movie anywhere other than their couch. Don’t you guys all have good couches? They’re amazing.
And I generally prefer the movies I could watch from my couch. Would you show me this movie, movie theaters? Would you?!
Yep. Eliza Coupe, Mary Elizabeth Ellie, Kyle Bornheimer and Demetri Martin. And they throw in Jimmi Simpson and Charlyne Yi for good measure.
Any, hey, movie theaters? You could have shown this a year ago. Instead I’ve got an OnDemand date for April 7th. Don’t look at me like that. You should have treated me better.
