Taika Waititi's Sense Of Humour Now Makes a Lot Of Sense

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but New Zealand director Taika Waititi is a bit of a favourite around here. The man who brought a sense of anarchic fun and a streak of intergalactic colour to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Thor: Ragnarok is not only a horrendously talented filmmaker—go watch Hunt For The Wilderpeople. Now!—but also a bloke who just exudes this inimitable aura of humour and charm that makes you really wanna have a beer and shoot the shit with him. I’ve heard other Kiwis describe this as an essentially Kiwi trait and now, after watching this clip from a New Zealand comedy news show, I am seriously inclined to believe it. Stick with it until the two lads in the header pic above show up. Trust me.
