This shouldn’t work. This should be a terrible idea, and even worse actual show. So why does this teaser work?

Look, I love Dick Casablancas and Kyle Bradway, but let’s be honest: Ryan Hansen is never the best actor on his show. And he’s not the funniest or best looking. So why would anyone want to watch a meta- comedy spin- off about Hansen trying to get his own private detective spin- off? Because he’s just overwhelmingly endearing. Or maybe it’s because it gives us a chance to see Rob Thomas in action again. Or maybe it’s just because Ryan Hansen has great hair. Either way, I can’t wait.
