Oh, Outlander, how am I not watching you yet? I feel a little ashamed to admit that despite my interest in the show, I haven’t been able to justify getting Starz for the show alone. But I might need to rethink that decision.
That was the trailer for the second half of the first season. And there’s a lot going on. Specifically, there’s going to be lot from Jamie’s side of things.
At Friday’s panel, it was revealed that the second season doesn’t pick up directly from the cliffhanger in episode eight. Events are told from Jamie’s point of view. Said Heughan, “Jamie has to deal with the relationships he has with his late father and his sister. We see his pride, his stubborn side. He’s a less idealistic man.”
Not that that sounds bad, but strong, intelligent, time traveling heroines don’t come along every day. Is it really a good idea to focus on the male lead even if he seems fairly awesome?
You win, Outlander. You always do.
