If you’re on the fence about having children, maybe don’t watch this:
Because I knew before watching this trailer that I don’t want kids, and I’ve somehow been re- convinced of it.
Good. Lord.
Is this a statement about the lack of community surrounding new parents? Not having enough people to support you while dealing with a life change? Is society too quick to undermine new parents? Pressure to research and implement every safety precaution/ health food/ learning tool that might benefit your child lest you fail them entirely as a parent? Or is it a critique about the current rash of over parenting? Insisting that your child has only the purest, best goods available?
Hell if I know. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be quietly weeping in the corner.
