I’m going to blame this on some sort of cross wiring, but it does seem like beer commercials are upping the sex ante, right? Like at first advertisers used sexy women to sell beer, then beer and sexy women became forever linked in the minds of some men, and now the inevitable cross over has happened: men are sexually aroused by their beers. But don’t worry, Amy Schumer’s got them covered. (NSFW. Clearly.)
Of course part of Schumer’s charm is the slightly surreal honesty of her skits. Because in reality when men are confronted about their behavior, they often don’t reflect seriously on their actions and try to determine their motivation. So as smart as Wyatt Cenac might be, in real life no one would acknowledge they’d prefer beer over women. Right? (Warning: Never go into the YouTube comments.)
