There’s a new “building” in the third season of Only Murders in the Building: It’s the stage in a theater, which is in a building where someone is murdered. Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Ashley Park, Jesse Wiliams, and Matthew Broderick join the cast, which already includes heavyweights Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez.
The season kicks off on August 8th. As unlikely as it is, I hope the WGA and SAG strikes are resolved by then because Steve Martin and Martin Short (along with Paul Rudd) doing the talk-show rounds would provide a real boost to late-night television spirits (and ratings).
