In one corner, we’ve got Trump, the Republicans, Theresa May, Le Pen, Russia, and surging nativism around the globe.
And in the other, we have a woman taking over as Doctor Who, one of the most popular characters in the world, and she is surrounded by a brand-new diverse cast that includes Yasmin (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole), and Graham (Bradley Walsh).
There’s two different worlds, one where media is consumed, and the other where a lot of old people cast votes. I prefer to live in the world with this fantastic new Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker, the 13th Doctor in a series with a brand new showrunner, Chris Chibnall.
Check out the new trailer for the upcoming season of Doctor Who.
Absolutely marvelous. Doctor Who returns this fall with, what I understand, are 10 stand-alone episodes (no multi-episode arcs this year).
