Here’s another round of TV headlines! FX President John Landgraf spoke yesterday at something or another, so a lot of these are going to be FX specific:

— Freeform has greenlit a Party of Five reboot.

— Hannah Gadsby is out of “retirement” and starting another tour that will end with another special named after her dog, Douglas.

— Netflix has cancelled Travelers after three seasons, and I am bummed about that.

— Season 5 of Peaky Blinders has wrapped and there’s likely to be two more seasons in the works.

The Walking Dead has been (unsurprisingly) renewed for its tenth season. There’s some concern that Danai Gurira may not return due to other commitments, but that’s still up in the air. The prospects of Lauren Cohan’s return next season look increasingly grim, however.

— The still-untitled prequel to Game of Thrones with Naomi Watts will kick off production this summer.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has run 13 seasons; it’s got another season under contract, and John Landgraf says that it might continue to run even longer.

— Harry Lloyd will play Professor X in the third and final season of Noah Hawley’s Legion.

— Meanwhile, Hawley has also completed the script for Fargo season 4, and that show — according to Landgraf — will continue to run as long as Hawley wants to continue producing excellent scripts for it.

— The release for season 3 of Atlanta has been pushed, at least beyond June, if not longer. That means it will not be considered at the Emmys this year.

— FX has also ordered Y: The Last Man to series. We’ve been talking about this basically forever — at one point, a movie was in development with Shia LaBeouf attached. This one will star Barry Keoghan in the lead role, as well as and Diane Lane, Amber Tamblyn, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield and Marin Ireland. Not for nothing, but Marin Ireland is also my favorite audiobook narrator.

— This is not news, but it is TV related. I don’t know your feelings on the matter, but I love this man, even though he is a Patriots fan, and if you feel similarly, you might want to contribute, as well. He just had a baby, and the thought of that baby not being able to grow up with Sam as his Dad absolutely crushes me.

— Finally, I leave you with the trailer for the What We Do in the Shadows TV series. My expectations were high. It exceeded them.

— Nope. Nevermind. I’m going to leave you with this. We’re pulling for you, Sam.

The man plays lead guitar like nobody’s business.
