The 'Traitors' Season 4 Cast Is an Odd Collection of Celebrities

We’ve known who would be in the Traitors season four cast for several months now, but it’s one thing to see the names written and another to see them together in the new trailer for the forthcoming season.

I still have no idea who several of them are - Candiace Dillard Bassett, Porsha Williams, and Dorinda Medley - but that’s because I don’t watch the Housewives franchise. But how strange is it to pit Travis Kelce’s mom against a former Bachelor, Colton Underwood? It’s also an odd collection of Survivor veterans: Rob Cesternino, Natalia Anderson, and Yam Yam Arocho. I had to look up Stephen Colletti, Maura Higgins, Eric Nam, Rob Rausch, Ian Terry, and Tiffany Mitchell.

But really, the two most out-of-left-field cast members here also happen to be the two I’m most interested in watching: Kristen Kish, the host of Top Chef, and comedian Ron Funches, who I would like to think is too legit for Traitors, but at this point, Traitors is huge. They put comedians in the UK version of Traitors, so why not? There might be a lot of Traitors viewers, however, who are left wondering why that comedian sounds like King Shark.

But then there’s also Michael Rapaport, because apparently Alan Cumming and co. just want to watch the world burn. I mean, he’s always had obnoxious reality television star vibes, so it makes sense. He’s gonna get axed quick, though, just because the other players are going to get tired of hearing him talk.

Traitors season four premeires on Peacock on January 8th.
