Are you going to need a COVID booster shot? Maybe? Due to contradictory statements from the Biden Administration and the FDA, information surrounding COVID booster shots is, at best, all over the place. I can only say for certain that you won’t need a booster if you have taken the horse dewormer Ivermectin. In that case, you likely didn’t get the first shot of the vaccine yet. With all this confusing info, certainly, I can’t be the only one who is flummoxed. Thanks to the folks at The Daily Show, I know that I am not!

This week, Trevor Noah took to The Daily Show to express the same frustrations over the COVID vaccine booster that I feel. For a primer, my wife works in a job where she has to interact with the public. She’s not dealing with a large section of the public yet. However, without telling you exactly where my wife works, she soon will be. Because of that, we just aren’t sure when or if she should get a booster. Enter correspondent Michael Kosta to… not help!

In a new segment titled Under Explainer, the always funny Kosta explains the basics of COVID boosters. I mean the very basics. As per the segment’s title, the bit is lacking any useful information. I knew what I was in for going into this video, and yet it still caught me delightfully off guard. Kosta acts as if he is clearing things up so convincingly that I almost forgot what show I was watching.

Am I any closer to figuring out if my wife needs a booster shot? No. But sometimes, laughter is the best medicine. Well, at the very least, it’s better than horse paste.
