Cold Open — An episode of Inside Politics with Dana Bash sees her talking to various Biden surrogates, all of whom say that Joe Biden is insanely vigorous “behind closed doors.” He has “grandpa monkey strength,” says NBA player Draymond Green, upon whom Joe Biden dunked. The joke is that Joe Biden is old, see. Thank God SNL is here to reveal that. (Watch Here) (Score: 3 out of 10)

Sydney Sweeney Monologue — Not a bad monologue, most of which Sweeney used to address rumors about herself — yes, she did work at Universal Studios, no she does not have a nutritionist, and no, she did not have an affair with Glen Powell (who makes a cameo appearance from the audience). (Score: 6 out of 10)

Interns — Sweeney and Chloe Fineman play 22-year-olds at the police department who easily crack every case within seconds because they are young women in situationships and therefore can find anyone on social media. Not bad. (Score: 5 out of 10)

Please Don’t Destroy — The guys are bummed because their friend has died in the most improbable of ways — he was donkey-kicked into the Grand Canyon while wearing roller skates — and they get upset at Sweeney for laughing at the manner of his death. (Score: 5 out of 10)

Air Bud — Sweeney plays a cheerleader in an Air Bud movie so desperate to be popular that she hits on and tries to sleep with Air Bud to the consternation of the male basketball players, who all had their chance. (Score: 6 out of 10)

Big Bench — It’s like The People’s Court, only there are 17 judges, and much of the sketch is preoccupied with introducing them while the case itself is lame. This one did not work. (Watch Here) (Score: 2 out of 10)

Bowen’s Straight — Sydney Sweeney has a crush on Bowen Yang and learns that he’s secretly straight and that playing gay is his meal ticket while playing women is his M.O. All the ladies are hot for him, including Gina Gershon, who makes a cameo. Nice. (Score: 6.5 out of 10)

Wedding — The hairdressers find themselves in an awkward situation when they ask to be paid right after the bride learns that her fiance has ditched her. Not great, but I have to say: Sweeney herself has been great in all the skits, so far. The material has not been there for her, but she is an unexpected natural at this. (Watch Here) (Score: 3.5 out of 10)

Weekend Update — With Mitch McConnell leaving the Senate, Jost and Che do not miss an opportunity to make their “Seen here” jokes about him, and they are all perfection. Heidi Gardner plays a “woman who is aging gracefully,” which is not worth your time (Watch Here), while Ego plays Charlotte, the pregnant sting ray without a mate who was actually impregnated by Michael Che. One of the best “Updates” this season, mostly thanks to those McConnell jokes. (Score: 8 out of 10)

Hooters — Here was the skit we were all expecting: A predictable one about Sweeney’s breasts and how, here, it’s responsible for $36,000 in tips during one shift at Hooters while no one cares about her co-workers. It’s a bad skit, but it’s still the Mat skit of the week. He knows why. (Watch Here) (Score: 3 out of 10)

AirBnB Designers — Lots of mid jokes here about the kind of decor one finds at an AirBnB. (Watch Here) (Score: 5 out of 10)

Dinner Date — A couple on a date finds novel ways to shut up a table full of men, and a table full of women, and then Glen Powell makes another brief appearance, which does not unfortunately save the skit. (Watch Here) (Score: 3.5 out of 10)
