'SNL' Cast Members Roast Colin Jost on 'Hot Ones Ping Pong'

I’m not a huge fan of all of the various Hot Ones spin-offs — if Sean Evans isn’t there, what’s the point — and yet, it’s a real joy to watch Mikey Day, James Austin Johnson, Chloe Fineman, and Sarah Sherman simply hang out for 20 minutes and give each other the business. It’s fun to see them unscripted in their natural habitat, assuming that a ping-pong table with red cups filled with hot wings is their natural habitat.

They’re fun together. And yes, they do briefly roast Colin Jost (at the 3:30 minute mark), and James Austin Johnson wins the roast with an assist by the Colin Jost roastmaster, Sarah Sherman. More than that, however, they’re just four goofy high-energy people going to town on some wings. Sarah and Chloe do not care for them, while James is completely unbothered by even the hottest wings. And yes, Sarah eats a wing out of the trash. There’s some real delirious Tuesday at 2 a.m. energy here.
