One Of The Stars Of 'The Hangover' Is Joining 'Only Murders In The Building'

Only Murders In The Building has consistently had a star-studded cast. It begins with the three leads, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short. Each actor is a star in their own right. Then, once you get into the supporting players, you find actors like Amy Ryan, Nathan Lane, Jane Lynch, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Tina Fey. By the third season, the crew was joined by Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep. Now entering its fourth season, the trend of hiring big names to populate the world of the Arconia is continuing.

The New York-based show is moving to Tinsel Town for the beginning of season four. Several big names have already been added. Eva Longoria, Molly Shannon, and Eugene Levy have been announced as joining the cast. Kumail Nanjiani, who appears in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire at the end of the month, will fulfill another dream as he joins Short and Martin. Those names alone would make for a stellar cast list, but Only Murders In The Building is not stopping there.

Deadline reports that Zack Galifianakis will join a hilarious crew for the newest season. His role, appropriately, remains a mystery. He could be playing a fictionalized version of himself or a new character entirely. This will be Galifianakis’s first live-action appearance on a television show since appearing on Bajillion Dollar Properties in 2016.

The third season of Only Murders In The Building was lauded by fans and critics alike. The show then began airing reruns on ABC, which have also been successful. It seems like Disney is throwing all the money they can at this newest season, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw another big name join the cast.
