Let's Watch the Teaser for Kaitlin Olson's New Series, 'High Potential'

Everyone loves Kaitlin Olson on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and everyone was super disappointed when her Fox sitcom The Mick was canceled after two brief but wonderful seasons.* Now Kaitlin Olson is getting another crack at a new show, but this one is an hour-long detective dramedy. Olson plays Morgan, a cleaner and a single mom with three kids and an IQ of 160. She gets called in by the police to help solve crimes because cleaning people are popular crime solvers at the moment.

I do not normally devote a post to a 30-second teaser for a network drama, but this is Kaitlin Olson. Exceptions can be made. I hope to pair High Potential with Elsbeth for weekly crime-solving comfort viewing next year.

(*Fun Fact: The hilarious deadbeat guy in The Mick, Jimmy, is played by Scott MacArthur, whose brother is recognizable comedic actor Hayes MacArthur, who is married to Ali Larter. Scott and Hayes MacArthur are also related to John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur of John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation fame. Think of that the next time you hear NPR mention that they are underwritten by the MacArthur Foundation).
