Calm down. Calm dooown! I’m going to share the video of Jason Sudeikis playing with rescue dogs. I promise! I wouldn’t throw something like that out there and not deliver. Stephen Colbert had Sudeikis on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to help get some rescue dogs into new homes. I KNOW! Please, contain yourself. Let me just set it up a little bit. Tell some jokes and then, boom, Ted Lasso with puppies.

So yeah! Stephen Colbert has made getting rescue dogs homes a part of his show over the years via the segment “Rescue Dog Rescue.” He’ll take adorable little pups who need a home and tell flattering lies about them to get them adopted. It’s fantastic, and he’s had great success with it so far and you’re not even really reading this, are you? You’re all hopped up on your love of former SNL cast member, Jason Sudeikis.

There! Now please, let me finish my job. You see, Colbert is trying to find a home for these puppies, right? For what storks are to babies, he is for … for dogs … that didn’t make a lot of sense. I think I’m also just thinking about Jason Sudeikis with puppies now. It is so cute, y’all! Then he sat down with Stephen and was so humble about his success. It was so nice and sweet to watch. He seems like a really giving guy.
