Steven Zallian (The Night Of, Schindler’s List, The Irishman) has adapted Patricia Highsmith’s 1955 crime novel The Talented Mr. Ripley into an eight-part limited series starring Andrew Scott. The series was originally developed for Showtime, but it has since moved to Netflix. Matt Damon previously turned the novel into a hit 1999 movie ($81 million domestic), but can Zallian do the same with a black-and-white series on Netflix?
Ripley premieres on April 4, 2024.
