If you’re not an Olympics viewer, you’re probably in something of a television rut right now. There’s still plenty to watch on Sunday night (including the return of Homeland), and there’s Waco and one more episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but your options are severely limited right now.

But don’t worry: Once the Olympics end, there’ll be way too much to keep up with again. In addition to currently running television, here’s a short list of new and returning series in March and April: iZombie, Good Girls, Unreal, The Terror, Hulu’s The Looming Tower, Atlanta, The Good Fight, Life Sentence, Jessica Jones, Sneaky Pete, The Walking Dead, Barry, Silicon Valley, The Americans, Legion, and New Girl. It’s going to be impossible to keep up with it all. I can’t wait!

Among the new series debuting next month is Siren, a new Freeform series about a murder mermaid, which sounds like the sort of series that could be really good or really bad, and based on this teaser: I’m going to say both. She’s a creepy, seductive small-town bi-sexual, extremely violent mermaid that murders. This mermaid has claws and fangs and will fuck you up.

Here’s your obligatory logline:

In Siren, the coastal town of Bristol Cove, known for its legend of once being home to mermaids, is turned upside down when a mysterious girl (Powell) appears and begins wreaking havoc upon the small fishing town. Using their resources, marine biologists Ben (Alex Roe) and Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola) must work together to find out who and what drove this primal hunter of the deep sea to land, and are there more like her out there?

And here’s a poster for you. Enjoy.
