Beverly Hills, 90210’s Ian Ziering had an unlikely and unexpected career revival courtesy of the Sharknado franchise, which concluded last year with the sixth installment The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time. But fear not for the strapping 55-year-old, because a new wave of bonkers B-movies is coming his way with Zombie Tidal Wave.

Like Sharknado or VelociPastor, you can pretty much guess the premise from the tidal title. Zombie Tidal Wave is about a tidal wave full of the “surfing dead.”

Check out the trailer:

Pulling double duty as producer and headliner, Ziering reteams with Sharknado director Anthony C. Ferrante for Zombie Tidal Wave. In this freaky flick, he stars as Hunter Shaw, a fisherman forced to defend the community of his picturesque island home not only from a deadly wave but also the undead within it. He will use his wits and, apparently, an electric sword to save the day. Because sure why not.

Zombie Tidal Wave premieres on SYFY on August 17.
