Greetings! It’s spring again, and the network television season is coming to a close, which means it’s that time of year again where a lot of shows are on the bubble and we all freak out because they might get canceled, except that they’re network shows and we don’t care nearly as much about them as we used to. Remember when Community and Parks and Rec were on the verge of cancellation every year? That’s the last time we got really invested in the spring Bubble watch, save for last year’s surprise cancellation of Brooklyne Nine-Nine.

In either respect, here’s how it’s shaping up at the moment for NETWORK television only.

NBC: Most everything has already been renewed: Good Place, Superstore, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Will and Grace, New Amsterdam, SVU and the Chicago dramas. This Is Us has not officially been renewed, but it will be. The Village and The Enemy Within haven’t officially been canceled, but they will be. The two shows you may care about on the bubble are Abby’s and AP Bio, which both suffer from low ratings. I wouldn’t completely count them out, however, because AP Bio has Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker behind it, while Abby’s has Mike Schur behind it, and NBC is probably going to give them a little extra consideration out of respect for other top NBC talent. At best, however, they may return as midseason replacements.

Also, somehow Blindspot is still on the air, is still awful, and gets poor ratings. Somehow, it will also probably muster a fifth season.

CBS — Look. You don’t care about CBS shows, but FYI, they’re all ending (Big Bang Theory), renewed (Young Shelton) or likely to be renewed (Hawaii Five-O, MacGyver) except for one show I kind of liked (Happy Together), one show I hated (The Code) and one show I’ve never heard of (Fam). But, you know, Man with a Plan will be back, so CBS is still gonna CBS.

ABCA Million Little Things is coming back, so is The Connors, and Modern Family (again). They haven’t made a lot of reneweals yet, but Grey’s will be back, and it’s looking very likely for The Goldbergs, Schooled, Black-ish, Fresh Off the Boat, Speechless, How to Get Away with Murder and even The Rookie will return.

It’s not looking that great, however, for The Kids Are Alright (bummer!) or Single Parents (eh), while Whiskey Cavalier is firmly on the bubble. Overnight ratings aren’t great, but it has done well with 7-days of DVR viewership. The expense of that series, however, may cost it a second season (bonus: Lauren Cohan could return full-time to The Walking Dead). Sadly, Splitting Up Together has virtually no shot at renewal.

The CW — Everything’s been renewed, or likely to come back except for two shows: All American and a show called In the Dark.

FoxGotham is in its final season, The Rel and Gifted have been axed, and everything else has either been renewed or likely to be renewed, except for The Passage (which I think will probably eke out a second season), Lethal Weapons (which probably won’t), and Proven Innocent, which I’ve never heard of.
