Love Island on Peacock at 9:01pm ET. One day, when I invent the machine that stops time for everyone but me and/or my small children coordinate their naps (cue hysterical laughter) I will write a post about this show’s wonderful tradition of having the cast dress for dinner, Downton Abbey style, and Lovetestant Rob’s steadfast devotion to mocking this concept by continually wearing jean overalls. Just overalls. No shirt. Given that the cast spends most days wearing swimsuits this feels entirely appropriate and yet sticks out like a sore thumb as everyone else is dressed in clubwear.
