Special Ops: Lioness on Paramount+ at 3:01am ET. Series premiere. The new Taylor Sheridan project premieres tonight, about Zoe Saldana and Laysla De Oliveira playing special ops agents who are “the tip of the CIA’s spear in the war on terror.” Seems like a big departure from his Yellowstone world. What I’m finding funny is that the cast list of the show has not one, but three apparently female characters with traditionally male names; Zoe Saldana is playing “Joe”, Laysla De Oliveira is playing Cruz, and Jill Wagner is playing Bobby.
Discovery Special: Belly of the Beast on Discovery at 8:00pm ET. One-hour special presentation. Shark Week has returned.
The Lazarus Project on TNT at 9:00pm ET. First season finale.
The Walking Dead: Dead City on AMC at 9:00pm ET. First season finale. There is another season of this coming at some point.
The Righteous Gemstones on HBO at 10:00pm ET.
