HBO Continues to Lean Into Idolatry Night

The Idol on HBO at 9:00pm ET.

The Walking Dead: Dead City on AMC and BBCA at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. I guess AMC is now going for the Yellowjackets model where the streaming premiere is two full days before the broadcast premiere. That seemed to work well for Showtime, but I think a subscription to Showtime automatically gets you a subscription to their streaming service whereas with AMC, you can get the channel without getting AMC+. So, we’ll see if that makes a difference.

The Righteous Gemstones on HBO at 10:00pm ET. Third season premiere. An ongoing attempt to parody that which is nearly impossible to parody.
