The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol on AMC+ at 3:01am ET. That is an amazing commitment to fitting as many positive associations into one title as I’ve ever seen. It’s like if the Star Wars series started being called like The Mandalorian: The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter Obi-Wan.

American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on CBS at 8:00pm ET.

The Simpsons on Fox at 8:00pm ET. I heard that they opened the 30th season with an episode poking fun at the idea of a series finale because haha, isn’t it funny to think the show will end some day? Which made me realize I don’t think I know anyone who is watching The Simpsons in real time despite knowing a lot of people who can quote the first 8-10 seasons of the show at the drop of a hat. But yeah, ending the series would be ridiculous. Obviously.

From on MGM+ at 9:00pm ET.

The Franchise on HBO at 10:02pm ET. Series premiere. Another Iannuci production that takes a satirical aim at that which cannot be satirized. This time it’s the production of super hero movies.
